C-REEL RESULTS: Active-Isolated Stretching

Active-Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a great complement to your C-REEL RESULTS: Personal Training and Supportive Nutrition programs. AIS is a revolutionary stretching technique based on controlling the body's stretch reflexes by using a two-second stretch. This has been proven to be a key factor in avoiding contraction of muscles and connective tissues being stretched to attain optimal flexibility.

Flexibility is specific to each joint. Work or exercise that produces repeated overuse of the same muscles on a daily basis restricts joint range of motion and reduces flexibility. Every activity requires unique flexibility characteristics. Flexibility developed in one exercise may not be adequate for utilization in another activity.

C-REEL RESULTS: Active-Isolated Stretching will allow you to attain optimal flexibility to assist you to C-REEL RESULTS with your personal training and workouts. AIS will introduce you to a stretching muscles in a new and more efficient way and to stretching muscles that you have never stretched before.

Some of the benefits of AIS include:

  • Improved preparation for specific athletic activity- optimal flexibility requires less energy expenditures in movement, allowing for increased stamina and enhancement of speed, agility and strength
  • Reduced risk of muscle, tendon, ligament and joint injuries
  • Reduced postural tightness and improve your stature
  • Rehabilitation of muscle, tendon and ligament injuries
  • Facilitates removal of metabolic waste and increases flow of lymphatic fluid and blood, therefore nourishing muscles, joints and speeding up injury recovery time

30 and 60 minute private sessions are available.
Many of the stretches can be taught in a modified form to perform on your own.
You will be given a home AIS program to complement your private sessions and
C-REEL RESULTS: Personal Training program.
